Egyptian police raided the Cairo studios of the Al-Jazeera, Sunday, and ordered the cessation of brodcasts from the place, according to Agence France Presse.

Al-Jazeera staff was told the broadcasts were stopped because none of the personnel had the proper permits. It was also claimed that there was a petition against the station, claiming its people are inciting civil war in Egypt.
