Ketzaleh: Restrict PA Leaders

Chairman Ya'akov Katz (Ketzaleh) of the National Union party responded, Thursday evening, to the Palestinian Authority's application to the United Nations to be recognized as a sovereign state by saying, "If we were running the state, we would ban all the people of the authority which calls itself 'Palestinian' from going abroad. We would be immediately locking Abu - Abbas at the Muqata [PA headquarters -ed.], as [former prime minister Ariel] Sharon did to previous arch-terrorist [Yasser] Arafat."

He continued, "We would be bringing all the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria under Israeli sovereignty and [making] an announcement of a five-year plan to increase the Jewish populations beyond the 'Green Line', which numbers about, 700,000 Jews (including the eastern part of Jerusalem and the Golan Heights)."
