Koby Mor, the chairman of the Airports Authority, said Monday night that the attempts by Turkey to connect its mistreatment of Israeli travelers with alleged abuses Turkish passengers undergo in Israel were false. “The attempt to connect security needs at Ben Gurion Airport to Israel's relationship with Turkey is beyond the bounds of reality. The Airports Authority denies all attempts to connect between the security procedures at Ben Gurion and the relationship between Israel and Turkey.
“Israeli security personnel work day and night to ensure safety of planes and passengers, and there is no place for a cynical outlook on their work,” Mor added.
