The official value of the shekel declined by an average of .131 percent in mixed trading, Thursday, against the other currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.574, up .45 percent from Wednesday's rate, with similar increase recorded by the Canadian dollar and the currencies of Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt. The Swiss frank rose 1.342 percent to 4.4639 shekels
The Euro fell .679 percent to NIS 5.1053 shekels while the pound sterling was set at 5.7931 shekels, down .188 percent. The Japanese yen declined .138 percent; 100 yen bringing NIS 4.6394.
