WikiLeaks shut down overnight Tuesday following an attack by hackers, the website’s owners said on their Twitter account.
The site came under fire in the past 24 hours after it published new confidential documents, some of which contained the names of sensitive sources. The United States has raised concern about the safety of those individuals who were named.
