Bid Published for Netivot Train Station

Transportation and Road Safety Minister Yisrael Katz announced, Tuesday morning, that a competitive bid has been published for a train station in the southern city of Netivot. The city is part of a project to build a line from Be'er Sheva to Ashkelon which will link the south with Tel Aviv.

The bid calls for an innovative station, which includes 300 meters/328 yards of passenger platforms, under and overpasses and a spur to the Nachal Boho stream.
