Most of the indices on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose slightly on Sunday in mixed trading. The TA composite index rose .43 percent to 966.23, paralleling the TA 100, which closed at 979.48, up .41 percent. The Maof 25 most-widely-invested issues finished the first day of trading at 1,094.52, up .52 percent.
The leading gainer was the oil and natural gas index, which rose .71 percent to 1,028.32, while the financial institutions closed at 961.35, up 1.05 percent. The real estate index rose 1.03 percent to 259.08 and the media/communications index finished at 818.67, up .08 percent.
