A total of 33 people were killed in Iraq Saturday, as bombs went off near a mosque, and among a group of policemen in a Christian area of Baghdad. In addition to the bombings, a major traffic accident killed 24 people trapped on a bus as they headed home from a vacation, police said.
The accident occurred near Kirkuk, 180 miles north of Baghdad. No militant involvement is suspected.
