Muammar Qaddafi’s former right-hand man, Abdel Salam Jalloud, announced on Thursday his plans to form a new secular political party ahead of future elections in Libya.
Speaking to journalists in Rome, Jalloud said that it was up to Libyans to decide if he should join a future government. He added his party will be “a nationalist, liberal, secular party.”
