The Tara dairy has started a campaign in which it is increasing the quantity of four basic products by 10-20 percent without an increase in price. The 10 percent increase is being applied to liters of 1-percent and 3-percent milk. The 20-percent increase is being applied to the 300-gram containers of of its 3-percent and 5-percent white cheese and cottage cheese, as well as to its 240-gram vacuum-packed 28-percent yellow cheese. The dairy is also offering a 25 percent discount on its Moo-brand puddings and yoghurts.
Chief Executive Officer Eran Elsner said the discounts were part of a long-term program growing out of dialog between Tara and consumers. She added that additional campaigns will be presented for the upcoming High Holiday season.
