MK Danny Danon (Likud) expressed disapproval Tuesday over MDA's campaign to remove its symbol from ambulances in Judea and Samaria. “We will not allow there to be 'second class' citizens in the state of Israel,” he said. “We will not allow residents of Judea and Samaria to be treated as second class.”
“The same ambulance, the same symbol, the same doctor, the same symbol – the same service needs to be given to all citizens,” he declared.
MDA has argued that the change in symbol is meant to differentiate between “community ambulances” and those dispatched from MDA stations.
