Israel-Argentina Free Trade Weeks Away

Israel will have a free-trade agreement with Argentina as of September 9th, following the South American country's recent ratification ratification of a 2007 agreement between Israel and the Mercosur (Mercosul) common market, which also includes Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay. The agreement went into effect in the other three countries in June 2010.

Israel is the first country outside of Latin American to sign an agreement with the group.
