Homefront Command: Alert Still On

The Homefront Command of the Israel Defense Forces said, Monday evening, that instructions for reacting to emergency sirens were still in effect, despite the relative calm that followed the launching of more than 100 missiles at Israel, including dozens following the declaration of a cease-fire by Gaza terrorists.

The command said people should enter a protected area when they hear a siren and stay there for ten minutes after the siren finishes sounding. The only thing that has changed is that gatherings of 500 people or more are now being allowed, adding that organizers should first consult with the command, the police and local officials for their approval.
