Police began, Tuesday morning, to clear an abandoned building on Dov Hoz Street in Tel Aviv that was occupied, on Monday, by activists from the social-protest tent city.

The activists had established a "public education center" in the building and claimed that the Tel Aviv municipality had neglected it in order to build a luxury tower in its place.
