Government Puts Arab Woman on Trajtenberg Team

The government has agreed to allow Arab women onto the Trajtenberg team appointed by the government to listen to the housing protestors and come up with viable solutions. Thirteen Feminist and Arab organizations made the request in an appeal to the High Court.

Attorney Anat Tahon-Ashkenazi from the Itach-Ma’achi Association responded, “This demonstrates the power of protest. I hope we won’t ever have to demand what is obvious again.”
