Housing protest organizers refuse to end their demonstrations, despite the attacks near Eilat.
They announced that “We deeply empathize with the families of the victims and encourage the government and security forces in their war on Terror. We are cancelling our main demonstration event in Jerusalem and elsewhere.
“The tent protest has united 90% of the population of Israel after years of financial oppression.
“The demand of the people for a change of economic priorities does not conflict with the war on terror – on the contrary, social security is part of personal security.”
