IAF Reaches Out to Hareidi Soldiers' Wives

The Air Force reached out to the wives of hareidi-religious soldiers this week with a special program in honor of Tu B'Av. The women heard about their husbands' contribution to Israeli security.

Rabbi Simcha Cohen spoke to the couples about relationships, family, and raising children in hareidi society.

The hareidi soldiers are part of a program called Shachar Kachol (“Blue Dawn”) which strives to integrate hareidi men in the air force, while giving them technical skills that will later ease their transition to the workforce. Approximately 400 men are currently enlisted through the program, most of them married.
