Maariv reports that The Knesset Economic Committee has given the new Jerusalem Light Rail another month for test runs until September 14. A Security problem and a ticketing malfunction caused the delay. Independent safety inspectors have not yet given the Light Rail their approval, and so the chairman of the Knesset Economic Committee MK Carmel Shama-Hacohen approved the transportation ministry’s request for the additional month.
