The 8th Annual wine festival opened Monday night in the Israel Museum.Wine store owners Avi Ben and Shmulik Cohen founded the festival 8 years ago to cheer up the capital. Dozens of Israeli wineries are displaying their goods.
For a single fee of 70 NIS each visitor receives a glass for as many tastings as they please at the various booths. Cheese will also be served, with relaxing jazz in the background. A special festival store will sell wines at a discount. The Festival is taking place in the Israel Museum Billy Rose statue park, which is well lit and world renowned for its grandeur.
