If Israel's first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, were alive today, he would be protesting alongside dairy farmers, President Shimon Peres said Tuesday. “He himself was a dairy farmer in the Galilee,” Peres noted.

Peres was speaking at a ceremony to mark 110 years since the founding of Kfar Tavor.
