Jewish Teens Train for Leadership Roles in Israel

Minister of Information and Diaspora, Yuli Edelstein, met last night with 32 Jewish teenagers from around the world, who are currently in Israel to attend a special seminar of the World ORT organization and the Ministry of Information and Diaspora. 

The meeting was held at the Alexander Muss High School in Hod Hasharon. Under the program, youth ages 15-17, selected after screening processes, learn about history, tradition and the heritage of Israel as well as leadership training. Edelstein said that "the program prepares the participants to be leaders in their communities in the Diaspora and in Israel." Robert Singer, CEO of World ORT, said "the young leadership program fits in with the vision of World ORT and strengthens the ties between communities in the world and in Israel."
