A brush fire broke out, Thursday afternoon, near the Lower Galilee community of Mei Ami, in the Nachal Eeron (Wadi Ara) area. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters from Hadera were sent to battle the blaze, assisted by aircraft. The fire has closed Route 6535 in both directions because of its proximity to the highway.
