Dairy farmers from the Gaza belt region protested in Sderot on Wednesday by handing out 500 bags of free milk to raise awareness of their cause. “The upcoming weeks could be the last chance to taste 'blue and white' Israeli milk,” said Oded Arkin, manager of a dairy farm in Kibbutz Gat.
The farmers were protesting the government's intention to cut their profits as part of an initiative to reduce the price of dairy products.
