Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met on Monday with the team that is to make suggestions on how to help lower the cost of living in Israel. The committee is to be headed by Professor Manuel Trajtenberg. The committee will consist of 18 ministers, and advisors from the labor, manufacturing, and business spheres.
Netanyahu told Trajtenberg that he would provide all the help he needed to get his job done. “He asked me if I was prepared, as Prime Minister, to make the changes necessary to lighten the economic burden of the people, and I said I was,” Netanyahu said.
