Ketzaleh: Knesset Must Meet During Vacation

National Union chairman MK Ya'akov Katz (Ketzaleh) on Sunday called for a special Knesset session to be convened to discuss the cost of living protests and possible solutions. Ketazaleh made the request in a letter to Knesset chairman Reuven Rivlin. The Knesset is currently on its summer recess, and will remain so until October, after the conclusion of Sukkot.

“The state of Israel is now experiencing one of the most severe housing crises in its history, and is facing a very high cost of living,” Ketzaleh wrote in his letter to Rivlin, adding that the Knesset had no business being on vacation while the problems remained unsolved.
