The Women in Green organization announced, on Friday, that transportation from Kiryat Arba/Hevron, the Gush Etzion Junction and the Efrat Community Center will be available for those who register in advance, for Monday evening's reading of Eicha (the Book of Lamentations) in front of the Jerusalem American Consulate on Agron Street and the group's 17th annual walk around the walls of the Old City in observance of the 9th of Av.
The Eicha reading is scheduled for 9:45, to be followed at about 10:30 by remarks from Rabbi Mordechai Rabinovitch, MK Professor Aryeh Eldad, MK Dr Michael Ben Ari, and Ezra Yachin in Hebrew. Prof. Paul Eidelberg will speak in English. The walk is scheduled to get under way at 11:00 pm and pass by the New Gate, Damascus Gate, Herod's Gate and Lion's Gate, concluding at the Dung Gate, near the Kotel (Western Wall of the Temple). Egged buses ride all night to bring people back to Jaffa Gate.
