The Knesset approved, this week, the first reading of a bill that would require monthly statements by credit-card companies to clearly show purchases, such as those made by telephone, where the card is not phyiscly presented. The proposal aims to reduce credit-card fraud.

The bill now goes to the Knesset Economics Committee for fine tuning before its final readings in the full Knesset.
