Hama: Syrian Troops Kill 45 in Two Days

Residents of the Syrian city of Hama reported, on Friday, that the Syrian Army has killed 45 people in two days of attack on the city. Human rights groups put the death toll since the beginning of the week at 90. Official Syrian media report that the troops are trying "to return security, stability and normal life" to Hama, adding that "terrorists" are responsible for the deaths and wounding of more than 20 soldiers.

A video disseminated by rebels shows residents of the village of Dir Az-Zour abusing the body of a Syrian soldier who was abducted and murdered in the Al-Jabila neighborhood.
