Panetta: Security Budget Won’t Be Cut Irresponsibly

U.S. Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, said last night that a cut in the U.S. defense budget will not be done in a “rushed and irresponsible manner”.

In a message that Panetta sent to the American forces around the world after President Obama signed a security budget cut of 350 billion dollars, he said that an additional cut of up to 500 billion dollars would be “entirely unacceptable”.
