The US ambassador refused to indicate if President Obama was made aware of the recent requests of senior American officials that Jonathan Pollard be pardoned. The Ambassador did not say whether Obama was considering the requests or not.
Secretaries of State Kissinger and Shultz, CIA Director James Woolsey and Attorney-General Michael Mukasey and many others have made the Pollard pardon request of President Obama.
