Chaim Fogel: Conviction Doesn't Ease the Pain

Chaim Fogel reacted Tuesday to the conviction of a young Palestinian Authority man for the murders of his son Udi, daughter-in-law Ruth, and three of the couple's six children. “It does not bring back our loved ones, or ease our sorrow,” he said.

“The despicable murderers succeeded in destroying a family, and yet failed, because we will not be broken," he declared.

Regarding the sentence facing the killer, he said, “We know what the prisoners are like here; even five life sentences would not be so bad.”
