'Garinei Torani' Against Drug Abuse

The Authority for the War on Drugs has a new partner in fighting drug addiction among Israeli youth – the “Garin Torani” Torah groups active in several cities. On Sunday, the authority will hold a conference titled, “Youth at Risk – Fighting Against Addiction, and For Values,” aimed at helping to train Garin Torani members in helping youth avoid drug and alcohol addiction.

Kabtzael Mivtzari of the Garin Torani movement expressed satisfaction that the local authority saw the movement as a force worth working with, and had taken a step toward bringing “values, Zionism and Judaism” into the picture.
