'Cost of Living Crisis – Not Just in Tel Aviv'

The rising cost of living is a problem for all Israelis, not only those living in central Tel Aviv, says Naftali Bennet of the Judea and Samaria (Yesha) Council. “Those 600,000 citizens living beyond the 'green line,' in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem, also suffer from the increase in basic expenses and from the fact that Israel has a real social problem,” he told Arutz Sheva.

Bennet is planning a demonstration Wednesday in order to both focus attention on the country outside Tel Aviv and provide an alternative to the current demonstrations led by the political left. Several Zionist organizations are to take part, among them Bnei Akiva, Im Tirtzu, and Yisrael Sheli.
