Three Turkish soldiers were killed Monday by Kurdish rebels in the country's southeast. The three were traveling in a convoy which was attacked by Kurdish guerillas affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).

Unconfirmed reports said that a a district official and his bodyguard were wounded in the attack as well.
