Dairy products will not reach Israeli supermarket shelves Sunday, the organization representing dairy farmers announced Monday. The halt in supply will probably not affect consumers Wednesday, as supermarkets generally have a several day supply of products on hand – and the farmers will be back at work producing milk Thursday.

Instead of milking cows, farmers will participate in a mass demonstration in Jerusalem at 5 PM.
