Judge Amnon Cohen of the Jerusalem District Court decided, on Monday, to approve a prosecutor's request to extradite Israeli Aleksander Cvetkovic to Bosnia-Herzegovina to face charges of genocide. The judge said the Bosnian government will be obligated to hold Cvetkovic in a secure, isolated wing of detention.
Bosnian authorities have charged Cvetkovic, a Bosnian Serb, of being part of a firing squad that killed at least 1,000 Muslims during the Srebrenica massacre of 1995. He moved to Israel with his Jewish wife and became a citizen in 2006.
