Cabinet Approves Compensation for Disengagement Victims

The cabinet approved, on Sunday, a 300-million-shekel agreement that ends the claims for compensation by Jews evicted by the government from Gaza and Northern Samaria in 2005. A statement from the Prime Minister's Office said all community representatives, business owners and farmers in Gush Katif have signed the agreement, which will allow for the completion of the evacuees' moves to permanent communities.
