6.5 Earthquake Strikes Japan

Another strong earthquake struck northeast Japan Sunday. The quake measured 6.5 on the Richter scale, and its epicenter was off the coast of Fukushima, in the approximate area that was struck by the massive earthquake and tsunami last March.

At least seven people were reported injured. No tsunami warning was issued. No further damage was reported to the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power complex, which was crippled by the March disasters.
