Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin said Sunday that he believed that the Knesset would go on its scheduled vacation in August. In an interview with Channel 10, Rivlin said that despite the recent legislative activity on high prices, “everything has been prepared for the vacations of MKs.”

In the interview, Rivlin decried the loss of confidence of the public in the Knesset. “Once the Knesset was known for its decision-making abilities, now whenever it wants to make a decision there is an immediate protest,” he said.
