About 50 activists from the Western Samarian Task Force for a Solution to the Housing Crisis went to the tent city in Tel Aviv, Thursday evening, to promote building in the region as part of the solution to the national shortage of affordable housing.
Residents of the tent city said they weren't interested in that solution, adding that they wanted to live in Tel Aviv and nowhere else. Their leaders called the solution too political.
