Hundreds of people will participate in a demonstration for yet another social ill – the high cost of raising children. Protesters will gather on Ben-Zion Boulevard in Tel Aviv and march towards City Hall. Most of the parents are expected to be pushing baby carriages.

Parents participating in the protest are demanding a law that would pay for all day care for children under three years of age. They are also demanding subsidies for products, like diapers and formula, needed by infants.
