MK Shaul Mofaz has been recruiting members of the hareidi-religious community to Kadima in an attempt to gain supporters in advance of the next party primaries, according to Channel 10.
“My friend came over and asked me if I wanted to join 'Kadima,'” one newly recruited party member said. “All I had to do was sign, and he paid me the amount of money that people pay to join the party.”
Kadima filed a police report Tuesday over an alleged scheme to have hareidi activists take over the party. Sources in the hareidi community suggested the story was aimed at damaging Mofaz's reputation.
