Bank of Israel Workers at Tombs of the Righteous

Dozens of Bank of Israel workers began an annual trip Wednesday to pray at the tombs of renowned Jewish scholars and righteous people. They will begin at the grave of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu and will continue to the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai in Meiron, to Amuka, and to the grave of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness.

Worker David Vazana explained to Arutz Sheva that now is a good time for the trip. “This year we will pray for a solution to the housing crisis facing thousands of Israeli citizens, and for the speedy release of Jonathan Pollard and Gilad Shalit,” he said.
