Did Glenn Beck Compare Shooting Victims to Nazi Youth?

Popular American conservative commentator Glenn Beck has been accused of comparing the victims of a shooting attack in Norway to the Hitler Youth.

“There was a shooting at a political camp, which sounds a little like, you know, the Hitler youth. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing,” Beck said.

Former Norwegian press secretary Torbjorn Eriksen called the statement, “ignorant, incorrect, and extremely hurtful.” Youth go to the Utoya camp where the shooting occurred “to learn about and be part of democracy, the very opposite of what the Hitler Youth was about,” he said.
