MK Hotovely: Housing Crisis an Opportunity for Building

Speaking at the Likud faction meeting Monday afternoon, MK Tsipi Hotovely told Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that Israel could go a long way to solving the housing crisis in order to bring more people to the periphery. In addition, she said, more building could take place in Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria, where many communities are in commuting distance of the Dan region.

The government could, she added, alleviate the problem of Bedouin illegally seizing state land by building new, legal towns and cities for those seeking affordable housing.
