A strong earthquake has been felt in northeastern Japan in the same region hit by the massive quake and tsunami last March, the US Geological Survey reported.
According to the report, the earthquake measured 6.2 on the Richter scale and hit at 3:51am Monday morning (local Japan time). There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
