Labor to Review Double-Party Registrations

The Labor Party appeals institution accepted, Sunday afternoon, an appeal by chairmanship candidates Shelly Yechimovich and Amram Mitzna against the blanket acceptance of the 4,248 people who signed up during the party's last registration drive who are also registered in other parties. Their registrations will now be reviewed on an individual basis.

At the same time, the Ministerial Committee on Legislation endorsed a bill to stop the phenomenon. The bill is scheduled to have its first reading in the Knesset on Wednesday.
