A court in Cairo extended the remand of accused American-Israeli spy Ilan Grapel by 45 days, Thursday evening, according to an Egyptian television report monitored by Israel Defense Forces Radio.

The report said Grapel was brought to the remand hearing under heavy security and denied the charges.
