Tel Aviv Doctors Form New Union, Reject IMA

Doctors at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center protested on Wednesday against the pending wage agreement between Israel's finance ministry and the Israel Medical Association, claiming the IMA no longer represents them.

The doctors have announced the establishment of a new union called "Mirsham" (prescription), claiming that they already have 600 members.

For the union to become legitimate, they need at least 400 more doctors to join.
