Three leaders of the tent city protests in Tel Aviv against the high price of housing participated in a discussion in the Knesset Monday on the issue. Speaking to Mks, one of the participants said that she did not know what the solution to the problem was. “We are not real estate experts and we do not know how to solve this problem. We are looking to you MKs to solve it,” the spokesperson of the group said.
“The tent protest is political in nature but it is not for or against any party. It includes people from all walks of life and from around the country – secular, religious, students, young adults, older Israelis. This is a struggle that is important for everyone,” she said.
